It also has double-wall vacuum insulation, a built-in stainless-steel filter and a nominal capacity of 480ml. The waterproof description applies to the LED display and does not establish that the electronic lid can be submerged. Together, the display and filter make this a more specialized product than a basic insulated flask.

I cannot recommend HI11248 as it is currently offered. Reconsider it only if it returns at C$17.99 or less and its temperature display and tea filter are more important to you than the better-documented ownership experience offered by the similarly sized Contigo models.
